Shores Gallery

I sketch and paint a lot of beaches and seascapes. Most of these are from Wester Ross and the Outer Hebrides. I first visited Harris and Lewis in 2013 and returned in 2014 and just love the colours and the wildness. I hope I manage to convey this in my paintings.

Oil painting developed from a sketch I did at Sandaig, near Glenelg. The was the beach where Gavin Maxwell lived. Painted in 2024.
